Professional Hedge Trimming: Privacy and Green Geometry

Hedges are the living walls of your garden. They not only define your property boundaries but act as a barrier against wind, noise, and prying eyes. At Servinmosol, we treat hedge trimming like sculpture: we strive for the perfect straight line and maximum density so your garden looks impeccable and well-ordered.

Trimming Types According to Needs

Trimming a young hedge is not the same as restoring an old, overgrown one. We apply the right technique for each case:

1. Maintenance Trimming and Shaping

This is the regular trim (2-3 times a year) to maintain geometric shape. We cut new shoots to force the plant to branch inwards, achieving that "thick green wall" texture that prevents people from seeing in from the street.

2. Rejuvenation and Reduction Pruning

If your hedges have grown too tall or wide, invading paths or blocking windows, we perform controlled drastic pruning. We reduce height and width using professional cutting tools, applying fungicide treatments afterwards to heal the cuts and prevent disease.

Species and Calendar

In Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida, we regularly work with resilient species that require specific care:

Machinery and Impeccable Cleanup

A good trimming job isn't finished until the last leaf is picked up.

Professional Tools: We use long-blade petrol hedge trimmers and telescopic poles to reach the highest tops without dangerous scaffolding. Our blades are disinfected between clients to prevent spreading pests.

Waste Management: Hedge trimming generates a huge volume of branches. We shred and remove all green waste on the same day, leaving your paths, pool, and walkways completely clean.

✂️ The Golden Rule: Trapezoidal Shape

Many trim hedges perfectly straight, but the professional secret is to leave them slightly wider at the base than at the top (trapezoid shape).

Why? This allows sunlight to reach the lower branches, preventing the base of the hedge from becoming "bare" and leafless over the years.
