LED Lighting: Modernize Your Pool & Save Energy

A pool isn't just for swimming during the day; it is the aesthetic heart of your garden at night. If you are still using old 300W halogen spotlights, you are spending a fortune on electricity and missing the chance to create magical atmospheres. At Servinmosol, we replace your old lighting system with state-of-the-art LED technology, combining efficiency, safety, and design.

The Halogen Problem vs. The LED Solution

Traditionally, pools were lit with 300-watt incandescent bulbs (PAR56 type). These lights have three major problems: they consume huge amounts of electricity, generate a lot of heat (which burns seals and causes leaks), and have a very short lifespan, burning out frequently.

Switching to LED changes everything:

Pure White or RGB Colors: You Decide

LED technology allows us to play with light like never before. We adapt the installation to your tastes:

White Light (Cool or Warm)

Ideal for those seeking elegance and sobriety. Cool white light gives the water a crystalline bluish look, very modern, while warm white mimics the tone of old halogens but with the power of LED.

RGB System (Multicolor)

Do you want a blue pool for relaxing, red for a party, or one that gently changes color? With RGB systems, we install a modulator that allows you to control everything:

Technical Installation & Safety

Switching to LED isn't just changing a lightbulb; it requires technical knowledge to ensure watertightness. At Servinmosol, we handle the entire process:

  1. Niche Check: We verify that the embedded niche (the hole in the wall) is in good condition.
  2. Seals and Gland Replacement: This is the critical point. We change the rubber gaskets and seal the cable exit (cable gland) to prevent water from leaking through the pipe into the electrical box.
  3. Electrical Adaptation: LEDs run on 12V, but sometimes require specific Direct Current (DC) or Alternating Current (AC) transformers depending on the model. We check and replace your transformer if necessary to prevent flickering or damage to the lights.
💡 Do I have to drain the pool?

In 95% of cases, NO. If the original installation was done correctly, there should be extra cable coiled inside the niche. This allows us to pull the light fixture up to the coping stone and perform the change dry, without wasting a single drop of water.
