Ground Preparation: The Key to Success
Many clients think laying turf is like "rolling out a carpet." Far from it. If the soil isn't properly worked, the grass will die in weeks. Our professional protocol includes:
- Rotavating & Clearing: We use mechanical cultivators to break up hard soil, oxygenate it, and remove stones or old roots.
- Rooting Bed: We add a layer of specific topsoil (silica sand mix) to ensure the new roots take hold firmly and quickly.
- Leveling & Rolling: We leave the ground completely flat (like a billiard table) to avoid puddles and make future mowing easier.
Varieties for the Mediterranean Climate
