LED Lighting:
Modernize Your Pool and Save Energy
A pool is not just for swimming during the day; it's the aesthetic heart of your garden at night. If you're still using old 300W halogen lights, you're spending a fortune on electricity and missing the opportunity to create magical atmospheres.
At Servinmosol, we replace your old lighting system with state-of-the-art LED technology, combining efficiency, safety, and design.

The Halogen Problem vs. The LED Solution
Traditionally, pools were illuminated with incandescent bulbs (PAR56 type) of 300 watts. These bulbs have three major problems: they consume a lot of electricity, generate a lot of heat (which burns the seals and causes leaks), and have a very short lifespan, burning out frequently.
Switching to LED transforms everything:
An equivalent LED light illuminates the same or more while consuming only between 15W and 30W. This means savings of over 90% on your electricity bill. You can have your pool lit every night without worrying about the cost.
While a halogen bulb lasts about 1,000 hours, a good LED light can exceed a 50,000-hour lifespan. Forget about changing bulbs every season.
Pure White or RGB Colors: You Decide
LED technology allows us to play with light like never before. We adapt the installation to your preferences:
White Light (Cool or Warm)
Ideal for those seeking elegance and sobriety. Cool white light gives the water a bluish, crystalline appearance that is very modern, while warm white mimics the tone of old halogens but with the power of LED.
RGB System (Multicolor)
Do you want a blue pool to relax, a red one for a party, or one that smoothly changes colors? With RGB systems, we install a modulator that allows you to control everything:
Remote control to turn on, off, and change sequences.
WiFi/App control from your smartphone, allowing you to integrate your pool lighting with smart assistants like Alexa or Google Home.
Perfect synchronization: if you have multiple lights, they will all change color in unison.
Technical Installation and Safety
Switching to LED isn't just changing a bulb; it requires technical knowledge to ensure water tightness. At Servinmosol, we handle the entire process:
- 1
Niche Inspection: We check that the embedded niche (the hole in the wall) is in good condition.
- 2
Seal and Gland Replacement: This is the critical point. A poorly sealed light is the number one cause of silent water leaks in pools. We replace the rubber seals and the cable exit (cable gland) to prevent water from leaking through the conduit to the electrical panel.
- 3
Electrical Adaptation: LEDs run on 12V, but sometimes require specific direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC) transformers depending on the model. We check and replace your transformer if necessary to prevent flickering or damage to the lights.
In 95% of cases, NO. If the original installation was done correctly, there should be plenty of extra cable coiled in the niche. This allows us to bring the light housing up to the coping stone and perform the change dry, without wasting a single drop of water.
Old lights and their conduits are one of the main sources of leaks. If you're going to switch to LED, it's the perfect time to check the water tightness.
