Pool Surrounds
& Coping Renovation
The "beach" (perimeter area) is the part of the pool that suffers the most wear and tear and, at the same time, the most critical for safety. Broken tiles, loose stones or, worst of all, slippery surfaces when wet, are a constant source of accidents in communities.
At Servinmosol we completely renovate your pool surroundings with the latest certified materials.

Mandatory Safety: Class 3 Anti-slip
Many older pools have "rough" outdoor flooring installed which, over time, has become polished and turns the bathing area into an ice rink.
According to the Technical Building Code (CTE), wet areas for public use (communities) must have a slip resistance of Class 3 (Rd > 45). We exclusively install materials that meet these regulations, protecting the community from potential lawsuits due to falls.
Preparation, Drainage, and Expansion
The secret to a durable floor is not just the tile, but the base.
We precisely calculate the slope so that rainwater or cleaning water flows away from the pool, preventing dirty water from ending up in the basin.
In the extreme climate of Murcia and Alicante, the lack of flexible joints causes the paving to buckle and crack in summer. We install them strategically.
Materials: Aesthetics and Functionality
We work with two main finishing lines, both resistant to chlorine and the elements:
🔹 Technological Porcelain Stoneware
The most modern option. Large format tiles (60x60, 60x120) that imitate wood, stone, or cement, but with zero absorption (they do not stain with sunscreens or rust) and maximum hardness. In addition, it allows perfect imitations of wood planks without the maintenance and splinters of real wood.

🔹 Artificial Stone (In Situ or Prefabricated)
The classic "Mediterranean" option. Porous white or sand-colored materials that have a great thermal advantage: they do not burn your feet even in the middle of August. Ideal for areas where children play, as it does not burn bare feet under the August sun.

The Coping (Pool Border)
The border is the key piece. We replace the old coping with ergonomic pieces:
- Bullnose or Rounded Edge:
Prevents damage when entering and exiting the water.
- Aesthetic Continuity:
We can use the same floor material for the border (skimmer or infinity systems), creating a visually very clean "infinity" effect.
If you have garages or storage rooms under the pool terrace, now is the time. When removing the old floor, we apply elastic waterproofing membranes under the new paving to guarantee that there will be no leaks in the future.
